Vespel® is the trademark of a range of durable high-performance polyimide-based plastics.   Vespel® parts offer a unique combination of properties that no other material can match: excellent resistance to extreme heat, good mechanical strength, good solvent resistance, low coefficient of friction, high dielectric strength, excellent dimensional stability, outstanding wear resistance, sealing compliance, high compressive strength, outstanding radiation resistance, low outgassing and toughness.

Since 1963, high strength, lightweight Vespel® parts have helped foster the revolution in aircraft engine design and performance.  This high performance polymer is mostly used in aerospace, semiconductor and transportation technology.

By using high speed spindles capable of turning at 30,000 RPM, tightly controlled work envelopes and cutting edge work holding systems, CCT Precision can machine components from the most simple part to the most intricate part on any of the 25+ machines in our facility.
