Project Setup

Our staff of QA inspectors works hand in hand with our machining staff to develop a robust machining process plan for every work order that hits the production floor. Together, they ensure the CNC CAD/CAM programmed tool path is optimized for speed and accuracy and the material choice is compliant with the customer’s design requirements.

First Inspection

The QA team inspects the first article to make sure it meets the customer’s engineering drawing tolerances.

Tools We Use

  • (4) MicroVu Vertex video measuring machines
    (.5 micron scale)

  • MicroVu Vertex video measuring machine with touch probe capability
    (.5 micron scale)

  • Pin Gages, Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Gages and Blocks, Profilometer, Renshaw Touch Probes

Production

The QA team ensures that production parts run within specific process controls.

Final Inspection

Upon completion of the production run which can range from 1 piece to 100,000 pieces, our QA team completes a Final Inspection to verify the process is compliant with our customer’s design.  Quality Assurance data/reports are logged, filed and kept in perpetuity.
