Torlon® Polyamideimide Materials are thermosetting or thermoplastic amorphous polymers that have exceptional mechanical, thermal and chemical resistant properties.  Torlon® is the highest performing, melt processable plastic.  It has superior resistance to elevated temperatures.  Parts machined from Torlon® provide greater compressive strength and higher impact resistance than most advanced engineering plastics.  Other trad names for Polyamideimide materials are Duratron®, PAI and Tecator.
