PEEK Machining at CCT Precision

Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is a colourless, organic, crystalline thermoplastic polymer in the polyaryletherketone (PAEK) family, used in engineering applications.  PEEK™ offers excellent thermal and chemical resistant properties and outstanding resistance to abrasion and dynamic fatigue.  It is recommended for electrical components where a combination of high continuous service temperature (480°F) with very low emission of smoke and toxic fumes on exposure to flame is required.  Some trade names for PEEK™ include Ketron®, Victrex®, SustaPEEK and TECAPEEK®.
