Brass Machining at CCT Precision

Brass is  non-ferrous alloy of Copper with fair to excellent corrosion resistance, excellent cold workability and good hot formability.  Brass machining applications include radiator cores and tanks, fasteners, gears, locks, bearings, ammunition components, plumbing accessories, pins and rivets.  In addition, brass is anti-microbial, which makes it well suited to brass machining applications for medical and scientific devices.  And, because it is non-sparking, brass is commonly used to make components for use in potentially explosive or flammable environments.

By using high speed spindles capable of turning at 30,000 RPM, tightly controlled work envelopes and cutting edge work holding systems, CCT Precision can machine brass and non-ferrous metal components from the most simple part to the most intricate part on any of the 25+ machines in our facility.
